Morrungulo, Mozambiques best kept secret. Situated 140 km North of the Inhamabane turnoff and exactly half way between Vilanculos and Inhambane.

Ponta Morrungulo is nestled in a beautiful valley surrounded by lush palms and dense vegetation. The beach at Morrungulo is one of the only beaches in Mozambique were the palms are right on the beach, ringing true the real beach feel. Morrungulo is fast becoming the place for a truly relaxed holiday or diving adventure. The beaches are pristine and long walks are a must.

The lodge caters for everyone , from the best campsites in Moz to five star villas. The camp area is covered by lush lawns and each site has a braai and water point . Beachfront Casas are very popular and the reason is their proximity to the beach. Located on the hill overlooking the bay is the bar and restaurant which is run by a very enthusiastic chef. The lodge has just  completed building a horizon pool which  really adds a touch of elegance.

The area around Morrungulo has fantastic diving and fishing. Sylvia Shoal is a world renowned stretch of reef that runs for 14 kms North to South and has an abundance of fantastic marine life , from Spanish Dancers to Manta Rays and sharks. The depths of these sites range from in shore shallow training reefs to deeper more challenging sites.

The dive centre is situated on the premises of the lodge and is a registerd Padi centre offering daily charters, dive courses and ocean safaris. The centre runs an 8 metre Superduck  as well as a 6.2 for smaller groups. Its a great place for dive clubs and large dive groups. Morrungulo  dive staff are friendly and professional.

Dive Morrungulo runs a full charter fishing service as well as having kayaks  and fishing rod sets to rent.
